This role involves creative design work, technical preparation for print production, managing production tasks, and maintaining quality control.Job DescriptionCreative Design Work: Develop and finalize design projects, including logos, brochures, advertisements, displays, bullnoses, and specifically packaging such as product boxes, labels, and other packaging materials.Pre-Press Preparation: Prepare and optimize files for printing, ensuring all technical specifications are met.Packaging Structure and Die-Line: Create and prepare packaging structure designs and die-lines to ensure proper folding, cutting, and assembly during production.Production Management: Oversee production tasks, coordinate with printers, and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality by reviewing and approving proofs, checking color accuracy, and ensuring the final product meets design specifications.Collaboration: Work closely with the Design Team to understand project requirements, design objectives, and timelines.Artwork Extension: Extend existing artwork designs to various formats and applications, ensuring consistency across different mediums such as packaging, promotional materials, and displays.File Management: Utilize design software to format artwork according to project specifications, including resizing, color adjustments, and file preparation.Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with printing vendors to release finalized artwork for production, ensuring all necessary files and printing specifications are communicated effectively.Production Support: Provide support for various production tasks, such as mock-up creation and prototyping.Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of deliverables.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in graphic design and pre-press production, particularly in packaging.
