They must deeply understand our users, their problems, where they find value, and consistently strive to improve the overall customer experience from start to finish. They must also be a driver of change, to contribute to improved ways of working, and to accelerate the adoption of the evolving ecommerce platform. You will...Grow a deep knowledge of our customers and how they engage with our products, always looking for new ways to create value on their behalfDevelop product roadmap for search and merchandising features based on business value and ROI analysis and provide regular communication and updates to regional partners, global and regional brands and other business stakeholdersFoster an outward facing view of the e-commerce beauty retail industry to identify how to accelerate business outcomes in the marketUtilize enterprise search technologies (e.g., Algolia, Fredhopper, Factfinder) to enhance search accuracy and user satisfactionCollaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to implement and iterate on search algorithms and features that improve relevance and speedDrive "test & learn" activities through onsite experimentation, user testing and analysisIdentify opportunities and deliver iterative business value based on insightsDevelop comprehensive and detailed Product Requirements Documents in collaboration with UX and Engineering clearly defining the expectations and prioritized scope of the capabilityDraft clear and detailed epics to support implementation cyclesCollaborate closely and build strong partnerships with UX, Engineering, Analytics & Insights, Product Marketing, Regional product teams, Brand Experience teams and other business stakeholdersGain a solid knowledge of Estee Lauder Company's business and the intricacies of the Digital Experience and Brand OrganizationsActive interest and effort to learn new technology, techniques and processesDevelop and drive product area OKRs ("Objective Key Results") in partnership with the business, regularly measuring progress and pivoting as necessaryDrive product adoption of internal business tools globally with Brand Experience teams, in partnership with Product Marketing Analyze user data and conduct A/B testing to optimize search performance and user engagement metricsStay informed about industry trends and best practices in search technology to drive continuous improvement and innovationQualificationsWho You Are4 years of experience in the e-commerce, product management space. Platform/portfolio level experience is a plus.Strong project management skills and able to partner/collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional team membersE-commerce retail domain experience; understand competitive differences, trends and best practices, including understanding of eCommerce products, platforms and technologiesDeep understanding of search technologies and methodologies, including indexing, ranking, and relevance algorithmsKnowledge of SEO principles and their application to on-site search optimizationExperience with Search Enterprise Platforms, Content Management Systems(CMS) and Data Management platforms and Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Full Story and Looker).
