For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.What will you be doing?Barclays Bank Delaware seeks Marketing Manager in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available):Accountable for managing business and portfolio performance of a new retail partnership.Develop the business strategy, growth opportunities, and ongoing optimization to maximize program value.Develop strategic program(s) for the success of co-branded retail partners and manage the end-to-end execution.Work directly with co-brand partners to develop engagement campaigns while managing partner needs and expectations.Implement Marketing campaign to drive portfolio growth and success.Manage overall program budget which includes financial drivers to maximize P&L performance for the co-branded retail portfolio.Manage the strategic implementation of rewards, benefits and identification of new vendor specific offers to keep the portfolio very competitive.Lead digital journey and initiatives for the co-branded partner which has been evolving capabilities and leveraged across the bank.Lead revenue growth initiatives such as spend, rate sale, easy pay, contactless etc. based on current market trends.Perform market research and conduct surveys to ensure the value prop for the product along with the offers associated for the product is competitive.Purpose of the roleTo establish and nurture profitable partnerships that contribute to the bank's growth and strategic objectives, by acting as liaison between the bank and its external partners, working to create mutually beneficial collaborations.AccountabilitiesExecution of market research activities to identify potential partners whose offerings and target markets meet the established criteria for selection, considering industry, experience, and service quality, and ensuring that they contribute to the bank's strategic objectives through the alignment of partnership initiatives.Assessment of the financial stability, reputation, and technological capabilities of potential partners to ensure they meet the bank's criteria for collaboration.Collaboration with legal teams to support the development and negotiation process of agreements which clearly define the scope of collaboration, revenue sharing models, service levels, risk allocation and responsibility for each party.Collaboration with internal teams and partnering teams to support the smooth integration of products and services, and the development of joint marketing/sales campaigns to enhance customer reach and experience across both organisations.Evaluation of key performance indicators to measure the success of the partnership, identify areas for improvement, and make adjustments as needed.Relationship management of their counterparts at partner organisations, fostering trust and open dialogue to address any issues or concerns promptly.Internal consultations, sharing their market insights and industry knowledge with relevant departments within the bank.Vice President ExpectationsTo contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
