Prospect has a long-term, value-oriented approach that employs fundamental bottoms-up research to identify investments that offer attractive risk and reward.With offices in New York City, Connecticut, and Florida, the firm is comprised of 100+ experienced professionals who value entrepreneurship, intellectual rigor, hard work, and continuous improvement.Position ResponsibilitiesKey team member developing, maintaining, and enhancing communication with Prospect Capital investors.Help develop and implement the company's investor relations and other communications strategies, including positioning and intended messaging to the financial markets.Improve and maintain fund investor presentations, website updates and maintenance, ratings agency presentations, and board of director materials.Help develop and implement new fundraising initiatives, including marketing materials, due diligence materials, fund terms, and investor targeting and tracking.Update information and identify improvements for the company website to communicate with investors more effectively.Coordinate with the investment, accounting, legal, and other departments on ad hoc research projects.Help to compile quarterly valuation reports and board materials for approval.Candidate RequirementsSelf-starter, problem-solver, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented.Two plus years of relevant work experience. Industries/roles considered include investor relations, business development, investment banking, private equity, direct lending, corporate financial planning, consulting, and accounting.Understanding of financial statements and closed-end funds preferred.Strong Microsoft skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Graphic design skills preferred.Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 plus annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
