Learn more about our flexible approach to where we work.OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Enablement Associate to join our Commercial Enablement team at Instacart. In this role, your primary objective is to drive forward the ongoing development and execution of Enablement programming for our Commercial (partner-facing) organization. You will focus on identifying, understanding, and prioritizing Enablement solutions for one of our Commercial teams, which include the Brand Partnerships - Ad Sales teams and the Retail Business Development teams.In this role, you will partner with the Commercial team leads and engage in all pillars of our Enablement scope (i.e, Onboarding, Sales Motions & Methodology, Skills, Industry Education, Content / Narratives, Product, Data and Certifications), highly impacting team's revenue performance & partner engagement. This highly cross-functional role will collaborate closely with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and all other XFN teams within the Commercial Excellence Organization.About the TeamThe Commercial Enablement team is part of the Commercial Excellence organization at Instacart, working to enable Commercial businesses & partners. Ad Sales and Retail BD Account Managers rely on their cross-functional stakeholders on Commercial Excellence to drive strategy, provide actionable data & insights, sales motions & narratives and the tooling necessary for them to achieve their partner & revenue goals. We're a team of high achieving individuals dedicated to Going Far Together.About the JobBuild Training Requirement Documentation to align on business needs, objectives, audiences, modalities and measurement for all Enablement programsDevelop and maintain best-in-class knowledge of each teams' Sales Motions, Methodology and Playbooks, inclusive of methodology, narratives, tools, best practices, and objection handlingLead Onboarding sessions that ensure the Sales / BD team ramp and readiness in their first 90 daysHelp support the execution of the Annual Planning Sales Motion and training strategy to ensure team readiness for partner engagementsHelp support the execution of the Account Planning Sales Motion with responsibility for the training strategy, template development / optimization, training, and best practicesPotentially lead and leverage a breadth of training modalities (e.g., Virtual Instructor Led Training, breakout groups, email communications, video modules, etc.), to ensure the Ad Sales and BD teams comprehend and retain the information needed for success in their roleSupport the development of Company specific narratives, talk tracks and objection handling materials that align to the needs of our Sales / BD teams and enable the teams to confidently and consistently go to marketMaintain a thorough understanding of all brand and/ or retail tactics, product suites & customer personas to ensure training materials are tailored to team needsEstablish measurement capabilities and apply feedback to programs and processesAssess & iterate on Sales Enablement Strategies to ensure timeliness of Enablement programs / modalities and ongoing optimizationAbout YouMinimum QualificationsYou have 3-4 years of experience working in a relevant role including Sales, Sales Enablement, Business Development, Account Management, Ad Agency Digital Media Strategy or Account Management or Product MarketingExcellent communication skills - written and verbalStrong relationship building skillsExperience partnering with Retailers, CPG brands and/or Digital AdvertisersStrong experience using G suite tools, sheets and slidesStrong project / program management skillsYou have hands-on experience building training materials and narrativesYou have experience managing large scale enablement programs (teams of 150+) and have implemented programs that drive efficient and effective outcomesYou have strong executive presence, understand marketing concepts and/or retail business dynamics, and can articulate them to a broad set of audiencesYou enjoy working with internal teams to develop their skillsYou excel at managing initiatives across multiple stakeholders and can identify solutions that balance the requirements of eachYou are a self-starter with the ability to navigate through ambiguous situationsYou are comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentYou're a team player and love making an impact each dayPreferred QualificationsExperience working with data tools and teaching teams on the tool value proposition and instructions for usage and storytellingExperience with Sales tools such as SFDC and Sales Enablement tools such as Highspot, Seismic, Continu, Zoom, Google MeetingsExperience with Jira & Confluence a plusCompensation and BenefitsInstacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location.
