To help us visually express this unique brand position, our Global Brand Creative team is seeking an experienced Design Manager with acute skills in high level design.Our team consists of designers, writers, project managers, and localization team members, and we are accountable for creating global omni-channel campaigns in support of a variety of categories within the ASICS portfolio (Running, Sports style, Tennis, Kids, OneASICS loyalty, and many others). We have a clear vision for our team: to become a best-in-class creative center of excellence for ASICS. The addition of a Design Manager role to our team is critical as we continue to grow our capabilities and serve as an innovative partner for our internal clients within ASICS.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead & execute global design projects for ASICS suite of brands and categories, loyalty programs, and internal campaigns.As a working manager, with expertise in spatial design and motion graphics, contribute hands-on design skills from beginning to end for each project (Concept, photography, and design all the way through execution).Lead a team of designers in the development of holistic campaigns with an emphasis on applying Japanese design principles into each visual expression.Enable smooth and thorough hand-offs from design team to production and localization teams with a focus on accuracy and strong communication.Partner with leads in other areas (project managers, copywriters, localization managers) collaboratively working within established budgets and timelines.Expert level rendering ability to illustrate concepts and ideas in context.Photo art direction as needed.Creation and maintenance of brand style guides and standards.Consistently exhibit a collaborative, nimble, and positive mindset to every interaction and project.Required QualificationsMinimum 7 years' experience as a Designer.Minimum of 3 years people management experience.Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Media Arts, Spatial Design or equivalent education and experience.Strong visual design skills across all mediums (typography, graphic design, motion design, spatial design/retail environment, large format design, digital).Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, visual design, dimensional environmental renderings, and storytelling for major Global brands.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and persuasively sell creative concepts.Comprehensive awareness of new platforms, technologies, AI; Master of the Adobe Creative Suite.Previous cross-discipline experience that covers interactive/experiential design, creative media arts, immersive experiences, and narrative storytelling.Other Key Attributes / CharacteristicsSports/running enthusiast with an understanding of our uplifting Sound Mind, Sound Body brand differentiation.Supervisory ResponsibilityManage or provide oversight to other creatives including Graphic Designers, Motion Graphics Designers, and/or contractors and agencies.Reports toAssociate Creative Director.Terms / Expected Hours of WorkASICS employees are required to work 40 hours per week.Global company requires evening and early morning meetings as needed.Travel for photo shoots or other events as needed.LocationThe Company will consider a remote work arrangement in the following locations only in the U.S.: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington (state), Wisconsin.ASICS Applicant Privacy Notice:ASICS Applicant Privacy Notice: - $120,000 a yearThe expected yearly salary for this role is $100,000-120,000/year.Become a part of the ADI community:ADI is taking active steps towards becoming a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
