THE ROLEWe are seeking a Senior Designer interested in bringing strategy and design together to communicate powerful, impactful narratives through advertising, digital marketing, and social media. This position offers experience with developing content strategies for cultural institutions, global brands, and contemporary art exhibitions in addition to brand and editorial campaigns. This role reports to the Creative Director and Product Lead, and will work alongside artists, strategists, writers, and account executives.WHAT YOU'LL DODesignCreate digital graphic campaign assets (static jpg, GIFs, video mp4) for a range of platforms including: social, web, paid advertisements, and other materials; client-facing decks and presentations (Google Slides).Develop site maps, wireframes, and web design projects in dialogue with engineers.Understand and execute content strategies, from social media to editorial.Contribute to mood boards and visual explorations.Support on special projects as needed.Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and take direction on all creative and production processes.Animate and edit video and/or motion graphics.CollaboratePartner with production and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects.Mentor and review work of junior designers, guiding their creative development.Translate concepts into compelling visuals across diverse media, including presentations, ads, social graphics, infographics, email campaigns, and websites.Generate and iterate on design ideas quickly, balancing creativity with quality.Work cohesively with creative, strategy, paid media, and project management teams.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORExpertise with Adobe Suite, Figma, Google Suite, Video editing and/or Blender 3D.2-5 years of work experience in a similar role at an agency.Ability to manage own work on multiple/concurrent projects and workstreams.Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. 3D skills a plus.Proficient knowledge of standard design tools.Strong understanding of typography and the effective use of brand colors, images, and fonts to ensure clarity and functionality.A robust portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative work across different media, including digital, print, video, and experiential.A Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred.We are seeking part-time contractors and full-time designers.
