Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Job Description:Job Summary: The Marketing Communications Manager, Economy Segment - Global Refinish serves as a key member of the global marketing and economy customer teams, ensuring Refinish gains share and retains customers in this growing segment.The primary role of the Marketing Communications Manager, Economy Segment - Global Refinish is to drive the global sales enablement framework and build, distribute, and train on tools for the Economy segment. This role involves developing and disseminating presentations, collateral, and sales and retention tools to help Axalta and our partners win in the retail marketplace. Additionally, the Manager will plan customer engagement and loyalty programs to help customers obtain the most value from their Axalta paint system.The Manager will possess a deep understanding of the Economy customer segment in automotive refinish, with profound knowledge of Axalta's product systems, technologies, and strategies. They will understand the retail selling process and competitive landscape, expertly communicating value propositions through a clear and disciplined approach to messaging.The Manager will work within the Global Refinish Marketing Team and manage a team of content developers who collaborate within the organization to conceptualize and execute impactful marketing initiatives across all regions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage a retail marketing, social media, loyalty, and promotions plan that aligns people, resources, and budget to segment needs and ensures key initiatives identified by global leaders are met or exceeded.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, manage, and translate collateral, sales tools, technical documentation, and other assets to enable share gain and retention.Drive and develop presentations to convey the value proposition with a clear and consistent voice through all stages of the selling process.Partner with the Marketing Communications Manager, Global Refinish to ensure segment communications to Customers, Partners, Employees, Investors, and the market at large are communicated with a regular cadence and are clear, impactful, and globally aligned.Collaborate with the Manager, Global Economy Customer Segment who provides the strategic direction on growth strategies, value propositions, and offerings for the Global Economy Customer Segment.Manage a team of content developers who partner with regional marketing specialists to execute and/or support global initiatives, including events and campaigns at the local level.Optimize use of the team's sales enablement system (Seismic) and ensure assets are posted and accessible. Develop training materials to help the team understand how to find, use, and deliver tools.Manage key events within the segment and partner with the greater team for business and corporate events, including industry shows, internal/external business meetings, and social engagements. Collaborate with regional teams to support event facilitation at the local level.Develop strong partnerships within the organization to lead and execute marketing programs.Ensure brand standards are consistently applied to all materials and communications.Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess plan effectiveness and business impact.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business.Minimum 7 years of experience in a Retail Marketing role with proven success leading digital initiatives within a global organization.Sales/Promotional Retail experience.Automotive/Refinish alignment a plus.Development and execution of business-to-business marketing strategies, plans, and communications is required.Strategic thinker with a team player attitude to execute and produce impactful results.Experienced people leader, with a proven track record of cultivating relationships across regions or countries.Detail-oriented professional able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills.Strong PowerPoint skills.Highly collaborative team player.Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and partners.Some travel, up to 25%, may be required.Our Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
