Overview and Essential FunctionsAny additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.We are currently seeking an experienced Telecommunications Quality Control Coordinator-Field that can travel 80-100% of the time mainly within the Mid-Atlantic through the New England area.This is a full-time, benefits eligible position reporting directly to the Project Manager. The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds a project's contractual requirements, and maintains the standard of excellence established by Precision Valley Communications.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Drive company vehicle to job sites located across the contract area.Inspecting each job based on the client's "finished product" expectations to the specifics of the contract.Visually inspect and correct punch list items to close out jobsDocument with pictures or in writing what is evaluated at job sitesQualificationsExperience reading construction drawings and prints and verify production as reportedMust be able to travel with overnight staysMust be reliable and able to work independentlyMust be a minimum of 18 years old to drive company vehiclesMust possess a valid driver's license w/a clean driving recordMust have good communication skills (both written and verbal)Knowledge in QC testing and inspection in the telecommunications field1- 3 years telecommunications/utilities construction experienceExperience with Excel, Google Docs, and GmailExperience with Katapult Engineering Software is a plusBenefits and Company SummaryWhat you'll get...For this position company vehicle provided, hotels paid, and a daily per diem for meals when traveling.Plus..Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription PlansFlexible Spending AccountsShort and Long Term DisabilitySupplemental Life and AD&D401(k) Retirement Savings w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanCompany DiscountsLegal InsurancePaid Time Off and HolidaysWho we are...We are a company united in our vision of connecting America.
