As a member of Amplify's design group you will partner with a diverse cross-functional product team of designers, product owners, developers, and curriculum experts to extend and improve Amplify's Math Core.Amplify's COVID-19 vaccination policy requires all staff to provide proof of vaccination for in-person meetings unless an approved exemption is provided.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of the Amplify educational product line and bring the K-12 student experience to life through illustration and animationSupport the visual development of student digital experiencesConceive, plan, design and produce assets for animation productionCollaborate closely with the art director, graph team and lesson developers to define the look and feel of educational materials and contribute to the overall direction of the brandArticulate concepts and creative solutions visually and verballyDevelop and refine deliverables by obtaining feedback from stakeholders and designersCoordinate visual asset requirements and production within the greater design teamCreate additional support images including text, illustration and/or diagrams following specific guidelines with an excellent application of design principles.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, illustration, communications, or related field3+ years of experience in visual design/ illustrationStrong illustration and visual design experienceExpertise with Adobe Creative Suite and After EffectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuperb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with character animationExperience with visual design in education technology or a related fieldEnthusiasm for contributing to the landscape of educationInteraction design expertise and experience collaborating with engineers/animatorsExperience with FigmaExperience designing assets for desktop and mobile experiencesCompensationThe hourly rate range for this role is $50-$55.We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
