SummaryPlease make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.As a Senior Designer for Women's Outerwear, you will be a key member of the design team responsible for creating innovative and trendsetting outerwear collections for women. Your role will involve leading the design process, translating creative visions into practical designs, and ensuring that the products meet the brand's aesthetic, quality, and market requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior designers, and play a significant role in elevating Hawke & Co Women's Outerwear.You will have the opportunity to shape the brand's design direction, create impactful collections, and contribute to the brand's success in the fashion market. If you are a passionate and experienced designer with a love for outerwear and a desire to lead and inspire, we invite you to apply and be part of our dynamic and innovative design team.About The PositionLead the design team with a focus on continuously providing innovative, best in class product design solutions.Provides best in class design packages which include sketches, illustrations of construction details, and multiple product views.Provides design/concept boards to communicate design and color direction.Presents category products and design/merchandising information during key meetings and line presentations.Participates in the prototype process for assigned category(s). Includes initiating sample requests by working closely with our overseas office, reviewing samples, and directing revisions as needed throughout the development cycle.Attends fit sessions to facilitate process, revisions, and finalization of products.YOU AREPassionate about the women's outdoor apparel.Knowledgeable about apparel design.Excited about creativity, collaboration, and exploration.Proactive with strong attention to detail and work ethic.YOU HAVEA Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Industrial Design or equivalent combination of education and experience.8+ years garment design/development experience in the apparel industry with progressively responsible experience for category creativity, development, and design.Experience in the Women's category preferred.Strong ability to sketch and quickly communicate ideas in a visual format.Experience successfully giving creative vision for a product category.Proficiency with computer design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.DETAILSFull-time, Hybrid (Must be close to NY, as travel will be necessary for meetings at the office in Long Island and Manhattan).BENEFITS:401KPaid Time OffPaid Sick LeaveMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceSalary Range: $120,000 - $136,900Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate's capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
