Job SummaryAny additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.As the Director, Marketing Strategy you will be responsible for developing and implementing insights-driven marketing strategies, plans and campaigns that drive growth for the Connected Living Line of Business (LOB).You will lead the integrated marketing strategy and planning process for Connected Living. You will partner with LOB leaders, Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs), Communications and other cross-functional teams to plan and prioritize work aligned to business strategy and goals. You will collaborate with Growth Marketing and Product Marketing leadership to ensure broader plans and campaigns support key accounts and products.You will be responsible for how our story comes to life, and measuring its effectiveness among clients, prospects and consumers. You will use marketing research to gain a deep understanding of each target audience, their needs, pain points, and how our solutions can help.You will collaborate with B2B sales enablement teammate to understand and guide our messaging, leveraging consumer insights and proprietary data, across sales materials, campaigns and thought leadership.The ideal candidate will have deep consumer and B2B marketing expertise, with background in a Marketing or Advertising agency setting or in-house agency within a large Fortune 500 company.Job ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy, Planning & CampaignsDevelop annual integrated marketing strategy and plan across paid, earned, shared and owned channels that aligns with LOB strategy and goals.Lead paid media strategy including trade advertising, sponsorships, digital and social. Work directly with trade publications to identify and assess media opportunities and secure placements. Manage paid advertising plan and associated spend.Partner with Marketing COEs to prioritize and sequence work, ensuring efficient and effective allocation of resources and budget.Oversee development of marketing briefs including creative and campaign briefs.Develop and manage creation and distribution of content across channels according to marketing plans and content calendar.Create and execute marketing campaigns across channels, including digital, social, paid advertising, trade media and events.Partner with Growth Marketing and Product Marketing in support of Account-based Marketing efforts, product launches or campaigns.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success of marketing initiatives and campaigns.Consumer & B2B Marketing InsightsPartner with internal research teams and external partners to conduct research to uncover insights and better understand customer needs for B2B and Consumer audiences.Develop and maintain buyer personas and journeys for B2B and Consumer audiences to inform marketing strategies, plans, messaging and positioning.Lead marketing message testing to understand message resonance, clarity, comprehension and effectiveness with target audiences.Lead marketing research in support of B2B and consumer marketing efforts including but not limited to: research to support proposals, sales materials, campaigns, content development and thought leadership.Storytelling & Sales EnablementDevelop a consistent brand narrative and storytelling framework for Connected Living. Provide tools, guidance and training to assist other marketers and business leaders with storytelling and articulating of our value proposition.Partner with Growth Marketing to provide templates and tools that can be adapted for key accounts, coordinating execution of campaigns and proposals.Manages and maintains LOB positioning and messaging frameworks. Leads efforts around naming, branding, trademarks, etc.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or other related field8 to 10+ years relevant experience in marketing with strong focus in digital marketing, consumer marketing, B2B marketing, marketing research and analytics.5+ years with direct management experience leading a team of marketers.Direct experience with developing, executing and measuring successful B2C and B2B marketing strategies, plans and campaigns.Direct experience with managing digital and traditional marketing efforts and channels from concept through to production.Experience with all types of B2B media channels including trade and association media, tradeshows and sponsorships.Excellent people skills; ability to build relationships, navigate cross-functional teams and internal/external resources.Comfortable working in matrixed environments.Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and changing market dynamics.Preferred SkillsMarketing or Advertising agency experience or in-house agency within a large Fortune 500 company strongly preferred.5+ years direct management experience leading a team of 5+ marketers.Direct experience managing paid media plans and advertising campaigns.Direct experience marketing for a financial services or insurtech company.Deep understanding of martech and analytics tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, sales enablement tools, Google Analytics, PowerBI.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.Pay Range:$99,200.00 - $165,600.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.Expected application deadline is07/26/2024If date is blank then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.Helping People Thrive in a Connected WorldConnect with us.
