In the faithful pursuit of this mission, Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD is seeking a part-time Parish Director of Music.Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Select music for all parish liturgies and special parish events with approval from the Priests.Supervise musicians and volunteers.Recruit and schedule choir members, cantors, organists, and instrumentalists.Attend staff meetings if able.Meet with couples and families to plan music for weddings and funerals.Maintain parish music library.Obtain necessary copyright permissions to reprint music.Oversee maintenance of organ and piano.Direct weekly rehearsal for choir.Minimum Requirements:Candidates must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the Catholic Church. Candidates must have demonstrated musical, pastoral, liturgical, leadership, and organizational skills.
