Hybrid/New York, NYMake sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000Apple Bank's Marketing Communications Manager possesses the ability to connect with the Bank's customer base and potential customers to build and grow relationships by managing direct reports (two at present time) who are responsible for generating marketing materials through multiple traditional, digital, and in-branch channels, including but not limited to print and digital advertising, website content, email marketing and social media content, in-branch merchandising and promotional materials, e-newsletters, blogs, direct mail, brochures, statement inserts, product marketing kits, and presentations. This position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer with dotted line reporting responsibilities to the Assistant Marketing Director to create the Bank's content strategy across marketing, servicing, legal, and regulatory communications.The successful candidate is a seasoned writer/editor with experience in creating well-researched, highly engaging content that reflects the Bank's brand voice across all channels and utilizes outstanding editorial, as well as creative judgment, and collaborates cross-functionally with other Marketing Team members, product owners, internal stakeholders (Digital Banking, Deposit Operations, Branch Sales & Service, Branch Administrations, Risk & Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Fraud), marketing/creative agency partners, and external resources to achieve objectives.The incumbent must have 8+ years of demonstrated success as a marketing communications professional in both digital and traditional channels. A deep understanding of financial products and services and successful engagement of target audience and markets are preferred. Must be able to produce content that is fully synchronized with our business strategy, brand attributes, standards, and target markets with differentiation in the marketplace.Essentials Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage content strategies and editorial development for all Apple Bank marketing across channels, including print and digital advertising, radio, video, direct mail, statement inserts, physical branch marketing (posters, flyers, signage, brochures), digital signage messaging in branches, website content, social media, blogs, and other customer correspondence/communications.Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Team, including content, brand and creative team members.Provide hands-on direction and leadership to direct reports to ensure campaigns are on-brand, executed on-time, and structured to achieve the greatest reach to target audiences.Ensure that production and delivery of marketing communications produced by team are completed on-time and within budget.Edit content produced by team and ensure all content is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.Ensure content is routed through Legal & Compliance review and approvals; mediate content issues raised by Legal & Compliance; track and retain all communications for audit purposes.Create the environment, as well as the processes for compelling brand marketing and communications campaigns that will significantly expand brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.Examine the entire customer journey and audit existing programs to make recommendations for inspiring our customers through content and messaging.Work with Chief Marketing Officer and Assistant Marketing Director to develop ongoing, scalable content marketing plans, including quarterly campaigns, as well as required updates to materials.Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to Chief Marketing Officer, Assistant Marketing Director, and Digital Branch and Strategy Officer for approval and execution.Deliver quarterly content calendars for key marketing goals and campaigns.Partner with stakeholders across departments in developing specific content initiatives and gain consensus on messaging.Collaborate with writers, designers, Digital Marketing Team, and partner agencies to craft campaign ideas, as well as delivery plans.Identify opportunities to improve internal content development processes and tools.Working with other team members, Customer Experience Manager, the Consumer Banking Analytics Team and outside resources; benchmark and measure performance of print, web, digital and social content to engage target markets and make adjustments for improvement as needed.Remain current on industry trends and customer experience to create on-target content.Perform other duties as requested.Skills, Education And EducationBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, interactive marketing or communications, English, Journalism or related discipline. MBA in similar discipline preferred.Must have at least 8+ years of marketing, strategy, content development, copywriting experience, and focus on financial services preferred.Experience managing direct reports.Excellent communication skills as a writer, editor, and proofreader in print and digital media, with knowledge of SEO/SEM to optimize digital content.Strong understanding of the Bank's business strategy, brand attributes, target markets and customer experience for incorporation in content.Knowledge of financial services products and industry is required.Ability to communicate persuasively and in an engaging manner to reach various target markets across channels to drive traffic, generate leads and increase conversions.Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels with ability to create versatile messages for channel communication effectiveness.Demonstrated ability to work productively with marketing team members in a cross-functional capacity to ensure consistent and unified messaging.Experience and consistently strong performance in high-volume, deadline-oriented, multi-layered environment.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work at all organizational levels.Ability to analyze and present reports on content performance and make adjustments to optimize performance as needed.Proven ability to drive and achieve results.Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, website content management, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and social media analytics tools.Display willingness to learn new digital tools.Visa sponsorship not available.We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, military and/or veteran status, or any other Federal or State legally-protected classes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
