Job Summary Mountain America is seeking a Learning Experience Designer highly skilled in instructional design, content creation, project management, and learning assessment techniques. This position will collaborate with fellow designers, facilitation teams, technical writers, LMS administrators, and business stakeholders to define, build, or procure learning solutions that will meet the needs of the business. Job Description To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully. Create engaging learning activities across multimedia platforms, including eLearning, instructor-led materials, print and digital resources, and video. Collaborate with Assistant Manager to tie learning to business outcomes for target audiences. Design and develop learning experiences that align to measurable objectives and metrics for target audiences. Create exercises and activities (audio, video, animations, simulations, presentations, role plays, games etc.) that enhance the learning process. Maintain project documentation, assets, auditing criteria, compliance regulations, and intellectual property guidelines for internal and third-party resources. Research and evaluate third-party training solutions, ensuring alignment with the specific requirements of business leaders and organizational goals. Collaborate with learning technology team to integrate third-party training content into learning management systems (LMS) or other platforms, ensuring seamless user experience and accessibility. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Demonstrated experience with eLearning development, curriculum design, and training methodologies. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience evaluating and curating third-party training content to ensure it meets specific business and technical requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a closely related field and/or 2 additional years combined work experience in instructional design. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations None. Managerial Responsibility None. Computer/Office Equipment Skills Proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate, Camtasia to create interactive, SCORM-compliant, web-based learning solutions Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel Experience with building and maintaining courseware and participant databases Knowledge of graphic design Knowledge of mobile learning best practices Experience creating, editing, synchronizing and/or recording both audio and video for digital learning Language Skills Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations Strong verbal communication and presentations skills Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders and all levels of the organization Other Skills and Abilities Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video A strong digital portfolio is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Demands Ability to sit, talk and hear consistently Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally Vision Requirements Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more) Weight Lifted or Force Exerted Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
