The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence through compelling digital content that highlights our company's mission, the value of our services to the traveling public, and the significance of maintenance initiatives.Responsibilities encompass content creation, website optimization, social media management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role may also involve supporting bid/proposal formatting and utilizing new software tools for efficiency. The scope of this role goes beyond the traditional, allowing for creativity and growth within the position. This position requires someone who is a creative self-starter, has the ability to anticipate needs, possesses strong organizational skills, and will take the initiative to drive tasks independently.Schedule: Full time, salaried, remote positionMajor Functions:Content Creation: Develop engaging content highlighting our services, mission, and maintenance initiatives. Content examples include digital posts, printed flyers, banners, video, etc.Website & Social Media: Optimize our website, manage social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn), curate service-related content to engage with the target audience.Project Support & Collaboration: Align digital efforts with business goals and support bid/proposal teams.Software Proficiency: Utilize computer skills (e.g., Canva, MS Office products, Illustrator, Nitro, Google Analytics, WordPress, etc.), explore new software for efficiency, and gain comfort level with other software tools. Organizational skills are crucial.Market Insight & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, innovative approaches, and progressive movements to help raise brand awareness and grow website traffic.Communication: Maintain clear communication, emphasize strong follow-up skills, and assist with meeting facilitation when needed.Content Calendar: Plan content releases aligned with project bidding cycles, conferences, and other focus areas as identified.Analytics and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance and use data for improvements.Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in a direct or related fieldOrganizational strengthCreative and innovative in contentSelf-starter, self-motivated, independentAbility to develop and implement a corporate social media & marketing strategyWillingness to keep up with new technologies used in social media, content creation, and business development.Strong interpersonal skillsProfessionalStrong written and oral communication skills.
