We are currently looking for a Strategic Communication Specialist to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service.Position Highlights:The strategic communications specialist supports Lions International by promoting programs and initiatives that increase service and drive membership growth and member engagement. This role provides key communication support for our executive officers, amplifying the voice, the message and our global brand. The specialist works closely with the strategic communications manager, the strategic communications project manager, and cross-divisional teams to create engaging content that inspires Lions to make an even bigger impact in their communities.What You'll Do:Develop key speaker support materials for the international president, including presentations, speeches and talking points.Create monthly newsletters for the international president and first vice president, drafting copy, collaborating with content owners and providing input on content strategy.Support additional presidential communications, including the presidential theme book, awards page, form letters and video scripts.Research, write and edit print and digital communications, including emails, blogs, impact stories and social media as needed.Provide communications support for internal teams, including style reviews, communication counsel and writing support.We're Looking for Someone With:Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university (preferably in communications, public relations, journalism or English) or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 3 years of related experience in corporate communications, public relations, advertising or journalism.Why You'll Love Working Here:Lions Clubs International has excellent benefits for you and your family.
