The Director of Marketing and Communications is a key leader on the Damar creative team who implements, monitors, and evaluates marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, and public relations to support the organization's objectives. This role creatively executes marketing and communications campaigns while managing and inspiring a team of creatives, including the digital marketing specialist and visual communications specialist. This role collaborates with teams across the organization and engages a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in communicating the importance of the Damar mission. This role will be responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the organization through project management, writing, content creation, social media management and tracking and reporting KPIs. Working with the creative team, the Director of Marketing and Communications will manage all internal and external creative deadlines.Some of the ways we reward our remarkable Director of Marketing and Communications...Receive world-class training of verbal intervention & physical management techniquesEnjoy Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance optionsReceive up to $3,000 a year in Tuition AssistanceSave for your retirement with our 401(k) Plan ParticipationTake care of loved ones through our Damar provided Life Insurance and additional voluntary optionsProtect your income through Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance optionsEnjoy eligible holidays at home while getting paid with our Paid Holiday planTake paid time off for rest and relaxation with our PTO planRemarkable way you will make a difference...Manages the creative staff, including the digital media specialist and visual communications specialist.Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration, including serving as key point of contact for internal program stakeholders, the Damar Foundation and the Talent Acquisition Team.Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and consumer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing campaigns with specific objectives across different channels and segments.Works with advertising and media agencies with day-to-day support and execution of creative deliverables.Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.Manages content for all social media channels.Works in conjunction with Digital Media Specialist to create, maintain and conduct regular analytics reporting across multiple sources and extract key insights for future campaign development.What you need to be considered...Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, mass media, or related field required.Minimum of seven years of experience in Communications or Marketing required. 10+ years' experience preferred.Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar ProgramsValid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)Successful completion of pre-employment physical required.Essential Job Functions:Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.#J-18808-Ljbffr
