Through initiatives like our employee resource groups, anti-racism training, and bias prevention initiatives, we're building the cultural foundation that gives people the emotional and physical space to bring their authentic selves to work.What you'll do as the Senior Brand & Content Designer:Bring fresh conceptual creative design to the forefront of all brand touchpoints to position Away as a creative leader in the category, discerning when lofi versus hi fi is more appropriate.Concept flexible design systems that continuously evolve our creative approach to both brand and product initiatives.Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts and execution, from initial briefing through final delivery, responding to the needs of our business in real time.With a social first lens, design and execute mixed-media assets"”from stills, to motion, to live-action"”across a variety of channels, in a range of formats and device sizes with quality and consistency.Create gifs, small edits and snackable, short form video content.Understand art direction and how assets come to life on set"”working closely with art directors to guide outcome of content.Work closely with the Creative, Brand, Digital, and Growth teams to deliver on strategic business and creative goals through thoughtful design decisions.Effectively present creative and design concepts to internal partners with the ability to instill confidence and gain cross-functional buy-in.Glean insights from marketing research and analytics to form new design solutions based off of findings.Review final work with an exacting eye to ensure files are delivered to spec.Autonomously manage your workload, clearly and quickly communicating with project managers.Maintain an always on filter for the most interesting things happening in culture, that are reflected in the ideas you bring to the team.Stay on top of the latest technological advancements"”including design software, digital tools, and platforms, to enhance creative processes and deliver innovative solutions.Who You Are:Minimum 6 years of professional experience designing for elevated brands on conceptual, performance driving digital and social design projects.A portfolio of creative design that have elevated a brand's consumer ecosystem.The energy and drive to deliver the best design in the industry and the ability to manage multiple projects in tandem"”both 360 campaigns and ad-hoc requests.A willingness to push the boundaries"”we're not interested in the status quo and want to be provocative.Ability to establish a holistic design system that is both iterative and flexible to visually unify a project.Understanding of post production and how creative elements can be remixed, re-edited and customized to fit multiple channels.Competence in Figma and Adobe"”bonus points for animation, Webflow, HTML / CSS.Ability to understand consumer data and process performance learnings.Experience working in project management systems such as Asana is preferred.Team player with a 'no task is too small' attitude.Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Passionate about transforming travel (but that's a given!).Compensation Package:Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees.
