HIRING SALARY: $70,000.00 - $76,000.00 annuallyCheck all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.HOURS: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday; 40 hours per weekCONTACT: Human Resources (850) 201-8510 or via email at FUNCTION: Responsible for strategic planning and execution of advertising for all College programs and activities, management of creative services, and providing oversight for the College's public website.Designs, plans, and coordinates implementation of both in-house and contracted marketing including major campaigns for the fall, spring, and summer semesters to drive student interest and application to academic and workforce programs. Effectively manages budgets and resources associated with all marketing campaigns and ensures maximum return on investment (ROI). Tracks the performance of campaigns through measurement and analysis of prospective student inquiries, conversion, retention, and audience feedback to understand effectiveness. Stays up to date on the most current best practices in integrated marketing and employs integrated marketing strategies (traditional, social media, digital channels, content marketing, etc.) to reach target audiences.Directly manages the design and web teams and works collaboratively with the Director of Strategic Communications and staff to facilitate timely development of integrated campaigns, collateral materials, recruitment support, and other related efforts. Manages the office's Project Intake System for College internal creative services requests, overseeing the development of all materials and ensuring brand consistency. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with College department and program leads, provides strategic counsel, presents plans and ideas, and secures approvals of materials as needed.Works collaboratively with the Vice President for Communications, Chief of Staff, and Director of Strategic Communications to ensure effective and efficient operations of the office.Serves as a liaison with campus partners to maintain collaborative relationships, obtains program information, provides strategic counsel, presents plans and ideas, and secures approvals of materials. Works collaboratively with the Director of Strategic Communications and Vice President for Communications and Marketing, as needed.MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field of study, Master's degree preferred; and five years of experience in marketing, public relations, broadcasting, journalism, and/or mass communications, two of which must have been directing a public relations program in an administrative or management capacity.SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: Experience in organizational marketing strategy, planning, and execution. Knowledge of higher education and community colleges operations. Technical skills in digital media, social media, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems, and other related software. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge of advertising platforms and ability to gather and report on advertising performance metrics. Ability to write marketing materials for the college including advertising, publications, website, and social media. Strong management skills and ability to lead and develop a team of creative professionals. Ability to work well with others including executives, faculty, staff, students, vendors, and community members. Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, meet critical deadlines, and respond to urgent issues as needed.Preference will also be given to veterans and spouses who are eligible under the Veterans' Preference Law.
