By leveraging a scalable life design thinking approach, we foster enduring relationships and design staff learning experiences that result in greater upward and internal professional mobility for Johns Hopkins University staff.We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will deliver on the mission of the Center for Staff Life Design by coordinating and supporting training and programming for JHU staff. Responsible for the operational delivery support of programs and content, this individual will collaborate with the Center for Staff Life Design leadership and program teams to assure the excellence of training programs and experiential learning initiatives that provide staff members with the resources needed to explore, to prepare, to experience, to network, and ultimately to be inspired to pursue their life purpose.The Program Coordinator will support and develop expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across programming, training, delivery, and practices in ways that are appropriate to the mission and values of Johns Hopkins University, and aligned to the President's Roadmap on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.The Program Coordinator will also collaborate with curriculum teams aligned to Johns Hopkins Integrative Learning and Life Design to track and develop materials, logistics, and structure of Staff Life Design Programming. The Program Coordinator will assure that all training and activities of Staff Life Design are scheduled, managed, and that data is recorded with care and precision.By fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, the individual will play a pivotal role in strengthening Johns Hopkins' position as a global leader in higher education and staff development.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in Center for Staff Life Design goal setting, vision, communication, and evaluation and assessment strategies.Help maintain effective assessment and evaluation tools for Staff Life Design programming.Inspire a culture of engaged, innovative, and energetic delivery of programming across social media, in-person, and virtual modalities.Support delivery of staff programming, marketing, content, and logistics for staff participants with an exceptional degree of hospitality and thoughtfulness.Collaborate with Staff Life Design Consultants, the Life Design Lab, and other Life Design Units at the university to innovate new and bespoke programming for divisions and job families as well as other key university stakeholders.Support digital engagement strategies, leveraging and tracking engagement on online platforms to engage and inspire the JHU community.Represent JHU in thought leadership capacities across professional associations, academic journals, and higher education forums.Craft and share the university's story, emphasizing our commitment to pioneering career and learning solutions.Track progress through robust and comprehensive assessment frameworks tailored for life design and deliver content based on data-driven and evidence-based outcomes.Guide, maintain, and innovate a culture of data collection and analysis and leverage collaborations with key stakeholders to capture accurate data on the impact of programming.Monitor career design initiatives to assure that they resonate with the broader diversity, equity, and inclusion goals and vision of both the Center for Staff Life Design and Johns Hopkins University.Build strategic partnerships with key university stakeholders to assess needs and successfully implement career and professional development services tailored for staff.Support a scalable group coaching model for career advising, targeting JHU staff, featuring interactive sessions, collaborative learning, peer support, expert-led workshops, and digital tools to accommodate diverse needs and schedules.Actively assess the Staff Life Design program for opportunities and innovation.Monitor and track Staff Life Design programming budgets and expenses.Act as the primary liaison for Staff Life Design MyLearning programming questions and logistics.Coordinate preparation, set up, and logistics for Center for Staff Life Design events.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or graduation equivalent.Five years progressively responsible related experience.Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.Preferred QualificationsMulticultural or multilingual background preferred or demonstrated ability to work between cultures with English as a second language.Experience with or training in trauma-informed teaching and/or workshop facilitation (SafeZone training, etc).Demonstrated knowledge of and curiosity to learn common higher education and design software, programs, and other tools relevant to programming such as Figma, Canva, Miro, SAP, Workday, Handshake, Eightfold, Mural, Canvas, Blackboard, Articulate, Panopto, Cornerstone, etc.Experience with social media strategy and digital storytelling methods.Classified Title: Program CoordinatorBelow covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.Job Posting Title (Working Title): Program CoordinatorRole/Level/Range: ATO 37.5/03/OFStarting Salary Range: $21.25 - $36.90 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)Employee group: Full TimeSchedule: M-F/8:30-5:00Exempt Status: Non-ExemptLocation: Hybrid/Eastern High CampusDepartment name: Center for Staff Life DesignPersonnel area: University Administration#J-18808-Ljbffr
