NTDs are parasitic and bacterial infectious diseases - including intestinal worms, river blindness, trachoma, schistosomiasis and lymphatic filariasis - that affect over 1.7 billion people globally. The END Fund works globally in over 25 countries, with a primary emphasis in Africa.ABOUT THE END FUND'S INVESTOR RELATION TEAMThe Investor Relations (IR) team is the END Fund's fundraising team. This team is responsible for identifying, mobilizing, and nurturing meaningful and impactful partnerships to advance the END Fund's mission to end neglected tropical diseases. Driven by the transformative power of collaborative philanthropy, the team works alongside a consortium of donors and champions to help harness and promote funding opportunities for underserved communities.THE OPPORTUNITYAs an integral team member on the END Fund's Investor Relations team, the Associate will support a broad-base of administrative activities for the department, as well as contribute to the overall success of the END Fund. This position will report to the Associate Director, IR and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming donations in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (Salesforce) and managing online donor platforms (Classy). The successful candidate will work closely with the entire Investor Relations department to facilitate efficient administration, systems and operations. The Associate's day-to-day will likely entail updating systems, prospect research, and drafting follow-up correspondence and outreach materials. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & CORE COMPETENCIESManage online donation platforms, donation inputting and the donor acknowledgment process (drafting, editing, and personalizing thank you notes)Work closely with team members to enter and update information in CRM database (Salesforce), pull reports and track relevant deadlines in order to maintain an updated system and consistent set of metricsUtilize system management skills and data management tools in order to effectively retrieve, present and analyze Investor Relations team metrics for donor reports, etc.Provide administrative support to the Vice President, Investor Relations, upon request (i.e. team expense reporting)Manage IR team calendars and assist with scheduling internal and external meetings and events, coordinating follow-up when neededDevelop donor outreach materials and online campaigns for special fundraising campaigns (Giving Tuesday, etc.)Assist with preparing meeting and travel logistics for key team members, donors, and partners, as needed and support coordination of logistics and creation of materials for donor trips, events, and conferencesCoordinate with vendors as needed (donation platforms, consultants, etc.)Draft, edit and format donor outreach materials such as proposals, concept notes, grant reports, and donor correspondence as neededProvide support needed to cultivate and steward expanding portfolio of Foundation, Corporate, and Individual investors as neededConduct prospect research of potential major donors, corporations, and foundations and maintain in prospects pipeline as neededAdditional duties and responsibilities as assignedEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONBachelor's degree strongly preferred, but not required1-2 years working experience in fundraising and/or in an administrative capacityPrevious experience with project management, coordination of deadlines and balancing rapidly evolving prioritiesPrevious experience with Salesforce or other fundraising CRM a plus; aptitude for navigating new systems quicklyHighly organized, with excellent follow-through and attention to detailExceptional written and verbal communication skillsMotivated by an entrepreneurial and results-oriented culture, with a willingness to ask for help when neededAbility to work independently as well as part of a collaborative teamProfessionalism to interact regularly with colleagues inside the organization as well as partners, foundations, corporate donors, and high-net-worth individuals via e-mail, phone, and in-person interactionFlexibility and willingness to join a growing organizationPassionate about international issues and public health, with a global mindset and perspectiveDemonstrated cultural sensitivityAbility to work in the US and ability and willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally (estimated travel less than 10%)OUR PHILOSOPHY AND BENEFITSThe END Fund is an equal opportunity employer.
