The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or financial services/transaction groups at top accounting firms, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. This role emphasizes financial reporting, synergy analysis, and performance tracking to ensure the financial health and growth of newly acquired businesses. In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with a portfolio company, spending significant time understanding its operations and financial landscape. As the portfolio evolves, there will be opportunities for advancement and to take on new responsibilities across additional portfolio companies under the same private equity umbrella.This is a hybrid role, with the ideal candidate based in Houston, TX or Columbus, OH.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analyses to track performance metrics, synergy capture, and post-merger financial health across portfolio companies.Synergy Assessment: Analyze financial statements to identify and quantify synergies, including cost savings, revenue growth, and operational efficiencies, providing regular reports to senior management.Trend and Performance Tracking: Develop and implement tools to monitor key financial and operational trends, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.Post-Merger Integration: Oversee and manage end-to-end post-merger integration efforts, ensuring smooth transition of operations, processes, and teams.Financial Health Monitoring: Regularly assess the financial stability of acquired businesses, providing in-depth reports on profitability, cash flow, and key financial ratios.Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identify financial risks associated with integration and portfolio performance, proposing solutions to address potential issues.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, HR, IT, and operational teams to ensure integrated functions meet organizational objectives.Stakeholder Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reports on financial performance, synergy realization, and growth metrics to senior leadership and investors.Best Practices Development: Create and implement financial integration playbooks and best practices for use across the portfolio to ensure consistency and scalability in financial management.QUALIFICATIONSAt L!VE, we believe that a Private Equity Associate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent analytical skills.We are looking for an experienced Private Equity Associate who is ready to take the next step in their career and join an innovative and award-winning team.The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of portfolio management, thorough knowledge of financial instruments and markets, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.On top of that, they should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to creating and maintaining strong customer relationships.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5-7 years of experience in the financial industry; Knowledge of financial instruments and markets; Ability to build relationships with clients; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment; Commitment to creating and maintaining strong customer relationships.All requirements may be modified to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
