Join us at Crowe and embark on a career where you can help shape the future of our industry.Job Description:A successful candidate will be prepared to assist the current leadership in expanding revenue by working with practice offices on existing clients and external opportunities coming through our business development team and possess the following skills:Deep understanding of IRC Sections 41 and 174 and related regulations and guidanceDevelop and execute project work plansLead technical interviews with client personnel such as scientists and engineersDevelop appropriate quantitative and qualitative documentation to support project resultsDrive business development and sales growthManage risk and technical review of R&D projectsLead Federal and state controversies related to R&D tax credits and Section 174Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills in managing client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment to meet and exceed client expectationsStrong data management skills, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and AlteryxStrong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to mentor and develop managers and young professionals, including on the job technical training and coachingExceptional client service and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or engineering, MST is a plus6+ years experience in public accounting; strong preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experienceExperience in the subject matter areas described above preferredCPA, EA, or PE credential requiredWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
