Store Manager in Training - Grow Your Career with Us!If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.Store Manager in Training - Grow Your Career with Us!Location: Store 2709659, Mt Vernon, WATime Type: Full timePosted on: Posted 7 Days AgoJob Requisition ID: R442512Availability - Shift/DaysFull time Flexible AvailabilityMinimum QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for a Store Manager are:High School diploma or GED preferred.Experience in retail sales preferred.Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials.Ability to use a computer, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, etc.A valid driver's license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings.Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and SkillsLeadership and ManagementRecruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well-kept.Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service.Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.Site RelationshipsDevelop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.Training and DevelopmentPrepare ongoing performance appraisals for all employees, providing proper feedback.Train all employees ensuring that customer service, site image and marketing execution meet Company standards.Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.CommunicationEnsure that all employees receive proper communication in a timely manner.Establish periodic communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager.Organizing and PlanningEvaluate and develop action plans to address the needs of the site.Organize and maintain all site files and manuals.Manage store employees to ensure all required reports are completed accurately and timely.Ensure that all merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly.Ensure that all required employment-related posters and signs are accessible to all employees.FinancialAnalyze daily sales and expense information and take appropriate action.Budget and forecast P&L lines, and manage merchandise margins.Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.Working ConditionsWork indoors but will be required to work outside for tasks like cleaning and garbage disposal.Be exposed to occasional cold temperature extremes.Be exposed to occasional noise.Work with minimal direction and supervision.Note: This job description may change periodically as required by business necessity.Hiring Range: $23.37 to $25.92Circle K is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Our mission at Circle K is to make people's lives a little easier every day.
