Based in Kruiningen (Zeeland), the Plant Controller leads the Controlling activities in the plant in order to enable the company to realise the defined growth path as laid down in the Finance and Plant Strategy. The Plant Controller is responsible for all areas within Controlling, such as Annual Planning, Period Closing, Rolling Forecast, Analysis and Internal Controls.Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.In this role you will report hierarchically to the Manufacturing Controller and functionally to the Plant Manager.What do you do?Act as Business Partner for the Plant Team regarding all Controlling issues for the Plant.Support the Finance and Plant Strategy.Responsible for Planning and Coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Period Closing, and Forecasting Process.Drive effective and correct setup of Financial Reporting, Business Performance, Dashboards, and Analysis.Perform Internal Control activities to safeguard accuracy and reliability.Responsible for input, calculation, and high accuracy of Cost Prices.Support in Project and Business Case justification and implementation.Drive Financial Awareness to Improve Business Processes and Performance.Advise and Challenge Management on Plant P&L and Balance Sheet by providing Insights and highlighting Opportunities and Risks.What do you bring?Bachelor level in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or equivalent.At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a Controlling role in an international environment.Financial understanding, problem-solving, strong numeric insight & analytical skills.Experience in driving change management projects and ability to deal with ambiguity and change.Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers and managing those relationships.A self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work productively within a dynamic working environment.Knowledge of SOX is preferable, but not mandatory.Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.We offer you a challenging job in a dynamic and growing organization in the food industry.
