The Tufts CTSI Pilot Studies Program was a funding opportunity supported by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). From 2009 to 2022, the program provided one-year awards to investigators and research teams at Tufts CTSI-affiliated partner and collaborator organizations. It aimed to improve population health by funding new projects that allowed investigators to develop and disseminate novel tools or methods and/or to generate sufficient preliminary data for a larger follow-on study.
