LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a valued law firm client in Pittsburgh, PA, in search of a Litigation Legal Secretary/Assistant. If you are looking for a new position and have 2+ years/u2019 experience in a law firm environment, please submit your resume!ResponsibilitiesScroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.• This position will work closely with associates, shareholders, and paralegals on the full administrative duties• Support attorneys and paralegals on administrative items including receiving and opening mail• Distributing the mail to the appropriate attorneys and paralegals• Transcription of dictation for some attorneys for correspondence including letters to clients, engagement letters, and memos to clients and client files• Draft discovery in addition to pleadings• Complete monthly expense reports and credit card statements, scanning, and printing documents• Maintain electronic and physical client files• Maintain attorney's calendars by setting appointments, coordinating schedules, and setting up meetings, pleadings, electronic filing• Answer phones and communicating with courts and prothonotaries• Draft and review legal correspondence• Create an automated table of contents• Finalize all forms of documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports• Enter attorney's billable time• Request checks and paying invoices• Assist secretarial team with coverage for receptionist or other secretariesQualifications• Bachelor/u2019s degree and/or law firm experience preferred• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred• Proactive, flexible, with excellent organizational and communication skills• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and legal case management software, iManage software experience preferredPay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Caroline Lipscomb Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
