The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing high-stakes litigation cases from inception through resolution. This role requires exceptional trial advocacy skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of complex legal issues.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.- Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.- Prepare and present persuasive legal arguments in court.- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements.- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other attorneys to gather evidence and build strong cases.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.**Qualifications:**- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.- Active state bar membership and in good standing.- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a proven track record of success in high-stakes litigation.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.- High ethical standards and professional integrity.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience in a specialized area of law (e.g., commercial litigation, personal injury, intellectual property).- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.- Recognized achievements in trial advocacy.If you are a dedicated and accomplished trial attorney looking to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.
