The North Central Florida Media Group is looking for a new Promotions Director. The primary responsibilities for this role are comprised of online and onsite engagement with our listeners while maintaining and protecting the presentation of our brands. This role also oversees ordering and maintaining promotional items for listeners and staff. From here it's just a short drive to the beaches, Disney World, and Universal Studios.Come work in a state-of-the-art facility for a company that values its employees.Duties of the Promotions Director include but are not limited to:AdministrativeMaintain up-to-date online calendars of all promotions and eventsManage prize grids and coordinate prizes for contestsCreate and execute online contests that originate from sales and programmingRemain compliant with all company and legal policies regarding prizes we awardCreate contest rules for promotions as necessaryLead weekly Promotion Meetings providing an agenda and recapManage promotional announcement inventory, schedule promotional announcements, and ensure promotional announcements are recorded and producedPromotional supplies - order, manage inventory, etc.Load and unload station vehicles with promotional material, PA systems, tents, banners, and other itemsMaintain station vehicles' records of maintenance and registrationMarketing and PromotionUnderstand and execute best practices for Digital platforms:Social MediaDrive traffic and engagementNewslettersOpen/Click-thru-rate strategies and tacticsDatabase growth strategies and tacticsWebsitesExperience with WordPress and overall website maintenanceFamiliar with tactics to drive traffic and keep usersCopywritingWrite and update engaging copy for:Live and recorded on-air promosSocial Media postsNewsletter contentWebsite contentSocial MediaExecute best practices for social media engagement as it relates to content and policies.Understand rules and policies of social media platforms, staying current as they change.GraphicsUtilize effective graphic design skills, knowing what graphics work best in different media (Print, Social, Newsletter, Website)Produce graphics for promotional and event useOnsiteAssist in event set up: tents, tables with table skirts, banners, PA systems, and other items as neededKeep brand vehicles clean inside and outEnsure branded tents, tables, banners are clean and maintainedPrepare promotional items to be used at appearances and eventsAssist NTR Director as needed for our NTR eventsHelping with WorkflowAssist in gathering materials such as logos and artwork for promotional or event use.The successful Promotions Director will have attributes such as:Accurate, Detail-oriented, Meticulous, OrganizedAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with quick and thorough responsesResponsibility!
