POSITION SUMMARYLearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.The District Manager is responsible for the performance of the Restaurant Management Teams (General Managers, GMTs/GMITs, Shift Managers & Shift Leaders). This role ensures all employees are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job descriptions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMay perform any or all of the following duties:Ensures each Restaurant Management Team consistently provides a quality product and customer service experience that delivers total Guest satisfactionContinuously works to improve the skills, knowledge and morale of General Managers and GMTs/GMITs. Works through the General Manager and GMT/GMIT to ensure all employees receive the necessary training to perform their dutiesMaximizes financial performance and profitEnsures that business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with Company policies and proceduresModels and encourages Company shared valuesDemonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with all levels of internal and external managementAttends training to remain current on industry trendsParticipates in company meetings, webinars and conference callsPerforms other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirementsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIESMust possess approximately five (5) to seven (7) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of restaurant operations (preferably QSR)BA/BS Degree preferredMust have a Valid Driver's License and an acceptable DMV reportMust have reliable transportation with proof of insuranceMust have basic knowledge of computersMust have financial/analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and P&L management experienceMust have excellent planning and time management skillsMust have team building skillsMust have investigative and problem solving skillsBi-lingual skills are a plusMust display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business resultsMust have strong work ethics and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive informationWORK ENVIRONMENTCorporate Office fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment/ Fast paced environment working with kitchen equipment in tight quartersPHYSICAL DEMANDSSitting for extended periods of time, using telephone, typing and/or operating a computerSitting and/or standing for long periods of time at workstation or in restaurantsTravels as needed approximately fifty (50)%THE COMPANY RETAINS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR ASSIGN OTHER DUTIES TO THIS POSITION AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
