You'll play a pivotal role in raising cybersecurity's profile within Booz Allen, safeguarding our company's sensitive data and critical infrastructure. You'll be a trusted advisor, a skilled communicator, and a security champion, working together with business leaders and the Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) team to build a robust and resilient security posture. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.What You'll Do:Partner with client-facing teams supporting highly regulated industries (e.g., Finance, Energy) to understand their unique delivery needs through the lens of cybersecurity riskTranslate complex security concepts into clear and actionable business languageOversee the implementation and effectiveness of security controls across the organizationConduct risk assessments, drive behavior change, and prioritize security investments to drive business growthOversee cybersecurity audits and client-based security assessmentsIdentify growth areas of security awareness and training to keep employees vigilantStay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to understand dynamic cyber risk decisioningAdvise senior leadership on security matters and represent the cybersecurity team at leadership meetingsJoin us. The world can't wait.You Have:7+ years of experience with information security in a business-oriented roleExperience with supporting or performing cyber incident response activitiesKnowledge of security best practices, SOC2 Type 1 and Type 2, and navigating client vendor security assessmentsAbility to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsAbility to collaborate withthe professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive leadership across the enterpriseAbility to comprehend complex problems quickly, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closureAbility to take unpopular positions, when necessary, influence others to support these decisions, and maintain trust and credibilityBachelor's degree or 10+ years of experience with working in the cyber industry in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience in the commercial sectorExperience with leading an organization guided by cyber threat intelligenceExperience with participating in industry information sharing and analysis center organizationsExperience with leading successful cross-functional efforts across cyber and business teamsExperience with developing board, C-level, or senior management reporting and updatesPossession of excellent interpersonal, and presentation skillsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsCISSP CertificationCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
