The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and successful completion of Government/Federal construction projects. This is a great runway for fast-track growth & the opportunity to have a truly rewarding, long-term career.DescriptionWork in collaboration with project management team and Superintendent to ensure successful completion of projectsEnforce company safety program in accordance with company policies, local, state, and federal lawsProvide structure and management to project teamDevelop goals and objects for project team membersPlay an active role in the preconstruction and bidding processDevelop and review project plans & schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetEnsure that construction activities progress in accordance with project scheduleParticipate in weekly subcontractor meetings with project SuperintendentOversee subcontractor performanceTrack all potential change ordersPrepare and present monthly project reviewsManage closeout processLead and train project team members to support their growth and developmentBuild new and maintain existing business relationships with Owners, Architects/Engineers, Construction Managers, and SubcontractorsProfileBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field+/- 5-10 years of construction industry experienceGeneral Contracting backgroundStrong tenure at current and previous employersExperience overseeing government/federal construction projects.
