As the world's largest vertically integrated manufacturer in our industry, we are looking for someone with a competitive edge to help drive a can-do collaborative culture.Position Summary:The Division Manager - Wipers & Rags oversees the operations, staff, and resources of the wiper & Rag division & facility located in Jackson, TN. This role involves strategic planning, business development, performance management, and ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. The Division Manager is responsible for achieving financial goals, improving operational efficiency, inventory control, purchasing and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.Candidate Profile -Selected Talents:Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and implement strategic plans for the division that align with the Fytertech Nonwovens overall goals.Identify growth opportunities and market trends to drive business expansion.Create performance targets and objectives for the division.Financial Management:Ensure financial targets are met.Work with finance to provide pricing for all wipers and rags.Analyze financial reports and provide insights to Plant Operations Manager & senior management.Work with Plant Operations Manager to implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost savings.Vendor Relationship Management:Direct communication & relationship responsibility with raw material suppliers & converters.Responsible for negotiating raw material, converting and logistic responsibility.Business Development:Identify and coordinate with sales leadership to pursue new business opportunities.Requires a keen knowledge of the state of the industry including current market conditions and emerging trends or long-term pattern changes.Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients and stakeholders.Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the wiper and rag division.Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor a high performing operations and sales team in all aspects of wipers and rags.Conduct performance reviews for the Plant Operations Manager.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Customer Satisfaction:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.Implement and review customer feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Identify and mitigate risks associated with the division's operations.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and operational integrity.Operational Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the TN plant to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Implement policies and procedures to optimize operations.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.Performs other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Works daily with highly confidential business and employee information. May require extended working hours based on business needs. Travel will be required for meetings, training, and business development. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, as both scheduled and unscheduled work hours may arise. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to fifty pounds. Out-of-town/overnight business travel may also be required.
