As a provider delivering care, support and accommodation for West Australians in greatest need, our purpose is clear, and our passion is strong.A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.This role provides high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for the administration and management of accounts receivable to ensure timely payments by debtors.This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.We will be asking you to be:Responsible for accurate residents' billing as stipulated by the government department and/or in contract agreement.Responsible for billings of social housing tenantsTimely mailing of residents'/tenants' tax invoices/statements as requiredReconciliation of residents'/tenants' accounts and residents'/tenants' recharges GL accountDaily banking activities and bank statement receipting and reconciliationPrepare non-residents invoices requested by internal and external clientsProcess credit cards payment receiptingSetting up and process direct debit payment promptlyMonitor residents ageing and follow up collections with respective facility managersReconciliation of ageing report and trial balance of debtors accountAssist in claims process for Home Care on Services Australia portal and reconciliation of funds received to Home Care Packages.Attend to Accounts Receivable emails in AR inboxAnswer phone calls and accept payment over phone by using NAB TransactAbout you:Previous experience in a similar role strongly preferred.To be considered for this role you'll need:A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role in a large and complex service delivery organisationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyDemonstrated knowledge of and understanding of relevant practices and principals of debtor managementStrong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise responsibilities and multi-taskMinimum of intermediate competency in the use of Microsoft Office ApplicationsPrior experience with reconciliationHow to apply:To express your interest, please apply with an up-to-date resume, and a cover letter outlining your experience / suitability.Kindly note, if your application progresses to an interview, we'll be asking for:National Police Clearance - current within 6 months (or evidence of application)Immunisation record (Flu & COVID19)About us:Established over 50 years ago, Southern Cross Care (WA) is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation contributing to social, health and economic development in WA.
