We believe that talent is equally distributed across Silicon Valley, but opportunity is not, so we are committed to ensuring that socio-economically disadvantaged students have equitable access to the opportunities that will help them thrive in school and beyond.Position OverviewThe Talent Acquisition Recruiter at BGCP will play a crucial role in sourcing and recruiting passionate individuals who share our commitment to empowering youth. Your primary focus will be on full-cycle recruitment for various roles across the organization, including front-line program staff. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, you will support the development of a diverse and skilled team that aligns with BGCP's mission of providing equitable access to opportunities for young people.As a proactive and detail-oriented recruiter, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, source candidates, and guide them through the hiring process. Your role will also involve maintaining job descriptions, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and contributing to the overall success of the Talent Acquisition team.Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job posting management, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordinationParticipate in recruitment events, job fairs, and college information sessions to attract talentDevelop a diverse talent pool by leveraging various sourcing methods, including online tools, social media, networking, and employee referralsAssist in recruiting on average 50-75 staff members annually, with a heavy focus on part-time, front-line program staffCollaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutionsMaintain and update job descriptions to reflect current role requirements and organizational needsEnsure a positive candidate experience by effectively communicating BGCP's values, culture, and opportunities and providing efficient support throughout the interview processAssist in administering BGCP's online Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure data accuracySupport the development and implementation of pre-screening protocols to improve recruitment efficiencyCollaborate with the Development Team for social media postings and recruitment campaignsPerform additional relevant duties as assignedProvide support as needed for in-person onboarding of new hiresQualifications2+ years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment and sourcingExperience in recruiting for diverse roles across various functions or departmentsProficient at sourcingAbility to align recruitment efforts with organizational goalsHighly collaborativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer serviceFlexibility to adjust to changing recruitment needs and prioritiesStrong negotiation skills for salary discussions and offersUnderstanding of relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting recruitmentLOCATION & SCHEDULE:Primarily Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. However, flexibility is required to meet the organization's needs and to accommodate peak recruitment periods.This Position Offers a Hybrid Work Arrangement, Combining Both In-office And Remote Work.
