Department: GRCApplying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Location: RemoteMindPoint Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Director with a strong background in Cybersecurity for an exciting opportunity in Washington DC.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of service line, schedule, cost, technical, and staffing performance and activities on major, complex contracts to ensure timely and quality delivery of services to the clientLeads and directs management level employees and/or technical SME within the specified service area, while providing overall accountability for the assigned portfolioInterfaces with senior leaders on higher-level functional and/or technical issues, providing recommendations and solutions with full understanding of cross-organizational impact and needsProposes, plans and pursues strategic goals for the year and determines what improvements are required and allocates resources and supportPossesses the ability to manage their time and plan the most effective use of time and budget in the organizationProvides the point of escalation for management level employees in the oversight and coordination with corporate operations (finance, contracts, recruiting, HR)Inspires, influences and leads management to optimum levels of performance, while delegating effectively amongst other managers in the service areaUnderstands what should be prioritized and strategizes constructively with their managers to executeBe a positive change agent, both within and outside the service area; propagate our corporate culture throughout all staffRequiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field. Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional 8 years of relevant functional experienceMinimum fifteen (15) years of general experience and ten (10) years of managing federated cybersecurity programs in CybersecurityState CFO Act agency/fed civ experience preferredStrong leadership, written and verbal communication, and analytic and problem-solving skills are requiredAbility to maintain flexibility in schedules and shift priorities as a result of operational prioritiesStrong experience with Microsoft Office and other program and project management tools and applications is requiredDesiredCISSP, CISM or CISA or similar certification is highly preferredExperience with business development, including proposal writing and reviewing, is highly preferredAgile experience and certifications are a plusITIL certifications are a plusOther relevant IT certifications are a plusClearance: Applicable US Government Clearance requiredText code DIR to 202-915-6712 to apply!Since 2009, MindPoint Group has been the cybersecurity firm of choice for the most security-conscious US federal agencies and commercial enterprises.We're proud to be one of Inc. 5000's fastest-growing companies in the country. The salary range for this position is typically $200-250K.
