Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).What you'll doAs a Lead Software Engineer on the CLM Party Management team, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining key features that are integral to our customers and business. You are a hands-on technical expert who will guide and contribute to our development and operations teams to improve the creation of infrastructure solutions that scale with our rapid growth. As a successful lead engineer, you have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude to learn and share. You are responsible not only for writing quality, scalable code but also for guiding the team to make the right decisions. You enjoy working in a fast-paced agile environment, care about the team's decisions, and are focused on quality-driven development. We are seeking an engineer who is experienced in building distributed cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work on a complex ecosystem in the cloud with a focus on scale and availability. You will be responsible for developing software solutions using object oriented methodologies, design patterns, and building scalable, highly available systems. You will also have experience with public cloud and be curious and able to learn new technologies and toolsets.This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Sr Manager, Engineering.ResponsibilityWrite high quality code in C# .Net and other object-oriented languages that is easy to maintain and testParticipate in an agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, continuous integration, code reviews, version control systems and automated build processesResearch new features and technologiesRaise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitmentsFix production issues and maintain the code as neededThink about how to solve problems in scale and build fault tolerant systemsArticulate clear Software Engineering strategies, plans, goals and objectives across multiple Engineering domains, projects and teams, including cross-functional partnersLead troubleshooting and remediation quickly during high severity incidentsBe responsible for sharing and adoption of best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional areaContribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systemsIdentify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the teams productivity and efficiencyStay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the teamWork as part of a cross-site development team to drive design, implementation, testing and release of productsWhat you bringBasicBA/BS degree or equivalent work experience12+ years industry experience in Software EngineeringExperience with C#, Java, C++, or GoExperience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patternsExperience with SQLPreferredKnowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems4+ years professional experience building complex, scalable applicationsExcellent problem-solving skillsExperience with cloud platformsCuriosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool setsExperience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET), NoSQL DatabasesCare deeply about writing high-performance, reusable code for components that will be used across our productJob DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required.
