Time Type: Full time Posted on: Posted 3 Days Ago Job Requisition ID: R100081010 The College of Arts and Sciences is interested in hiring a Sr. Program Coordinator who will provide administrative support for Academic Programs under several assigned departments. In addition to the core responsibilities above, the Sr. Program Coordinator will also be responsible for the following: This position will support the academic programs for several assigned departments in the College of Arts & Sciences.Position works under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Business Operations. Academic Program: Assists Director(s) with course scheduling and classroom management.Assists with pin numbers for undergraduate students.Liaison with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services to process international student, faculty and visitor applications.Processes courtesy appointments for visiting scholars.Oversees department events such as seminars, symposium and recognition events.Coordinates orientation, recruitment and graduation events as requested.Assists graduate programs with TA stipends, travel expenses, and general graduate program expenditures. May assist with the reconciliation of other departmental accounts (gift accounts, speakers accounts, etc.).Supervises the update of the department's programs brochure and information packet for various departments.Prepares pre- and post-travel for student and faculty for approval and reimbursement.Assists Sr. Manager of Business Operations with part time faculty hire, including offer letters and payroll entry.Works with department chairs to update department websites.Assists payment of salary, stipend or scholarship to all graduate and undergraduate students as directed by adviser, principal investigator, or Directors.Prepares budget projections for scholarly and professional support. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered. Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.Commitment to the University's core values.Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
