Job title: Key Account Manager- Beauty-Santa MonicaIf you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.Contract type:Location: Santa MonicaDiscipline:Remote: NoSalary: $110,000-$120,000Reference: 476577Contact name: Arinne AverbachJob DescriptionOur client, a well-known hair care brand, is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team!MUST HAVE HAIR BACKGROUND!!!!!As the Key Account Executive, your primary function will be to find business opportunities and manage existing customer relationships in the professional channel with retailers, salons, hotels, and distributors including Salon Centric.The position reports into the VP of Sales and works closely with Marketing, Finance, and Legal in support of timely and accurate bookings of contracts.Location: Santa Monica 3 days in office, 2 days in fieldSalary: Up to $120K DOE plus bonusWhat You Will Do:Develop close working relationships at all levels in each Key Account through a consultative business-to-business approach.Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas with key accounts.Maximize sales opportunities and be aware of in-store activities and promotions, category sales, and commercial and operational targets.Identify business opportunities to increase Brand visibility and presence and in turn drive sales.Negotiate the successful execution of the sales, marketing, and educational plan within each account.Cultivate relationships at all customer levels to attain knowledge and understand customers' market rationale, problems, solutions, and opportunities (customer-centric).Work with company planning teams to forecast needs by customer.Analyze business on a consistent basis and communicate successes and opportunities.Develop and nurture a collaborative relationship with the marketing team to develop customer solutions.Identify and implement improvements in systems, work processes, and procedures to improve productivity and scale.Assist/Lead in compiling customer-specific sales presentations.Assist when needed in the collection of delinquent accounts receivable.Coordinate with and assist the order management team in onboarding of new customer accounts.Who You Are:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the consumer products industry.Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Excellent communication skills (Written and Spoken).Entrepreneurial spirit - team player.Organized self-starter.#J-18808-Ljbffr
