DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING:If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.This Director of Manufacturing position will be responsible for overseeing and directly managing the extraction, refinement, formulation, and filling processes for a variety of cannabis products in a manufacturing environment. This role will provide guidance, leadership, actively manage, share information, and develop & continually improve best practices. This Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for aligning corporate directives and initiatives, ensuring the required level of quality, safety, and service is achieved by holding the staff accountable. The Director of Manufacturing will assist in identifying and tracking KPIs established by executive management and will be responsible for ensuring brand and product alignment. Additionally, this role will be directly involved in managing safety programs specific to the lab, ensuring compliance and adhering to all state and local regulations.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure a safe, efficient, productive and positive work environmentAssist with product development, process development, equipment selection and installation of manufacturing equipment in collaboration with vendors and partnersMaintain process and product development related to extraction and refinement of plant material, oversight of multiple teams within the manufacturing/lab area for extracting, formulation and fillingManage ingredient, raw material, and packaging procurement, coordinate material and resource allocationCreate and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production and sourcing schedules to meet company needsDevelop and maintain KPIs for monitoring operational efficiency of manufacturing programs and for employeesHire, train and hold team members accountable to company standardsEnsure compliance with cGMP regulations, local and state governing bodies, OSHA and other relevant worker safety regulations in a manufacturing environmentEnsure utilization of ERP and QMS to ensure consistent products and high-quality controlPartner with technology and compliance team to ensure efficient regulatory compliance for all manufacturing related activities (document records, inventory counts, etc.)Maintain a robust Quality Management System to ensure consistent quality controlWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Manufacturing, Engineering or similar field or at least 4 years' experience in cannabis manufacturingPrevious Hydrocarbon and CO2 extraction experience is requiredHighly skilled and experienced in botanical extractions including distillation, isolates, and crystallizationExperienced in creating crude oil and other related extraction productsSuperior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effective and efficient meetingKnowledge of management and organizational concepts, principles, and techniques with demonstrated professional assertivenessExperience complying with GMP standardsExcellent critical thinking skills to be able to troubleshoot any issues with the processes and instrumentationStrong math and computer skills, including ability to create and interpret dataInterview, hire and train required extraction/formulation laboratory personnel in order to keep up with production requirementsConsistently achieve quality end products with repeatabilityCreate new and improved product formulationsEnsuring regulatory compliance, including safety, environmental and document control requirementsAbility to resolve any conflict respectfully and in a timely manner, addressing and resolving problems in order to create a culture of engagement and high-performanceEnsuring equipment reliability throughout production process10 plus years' experience managing product, staff, and resources in a commercial manufacturing operationContract and vendor negotiation experienceDemonstrated ability to achieve manufacturing objectives in terms of volume, product mix, cost, and qualityExtensive knowledge in environment, health and safety standards in agricultural operations requiredExtensive knowledge of food safety, security and GMP guidelinesPrevious commercial cannabis growing experience preferred.Enjoys working in a start-up, fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently in a highly organized mannerMust pass criminal background checkMost importantly, the Director of Manufacturing will be a team-player and a respectful collaborator, always using their position to grow the company through the empowerment and development of othersWHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER OUR EMPLOYEES AT JUSHI:We offer benefit packages that may include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k).JOB TYPE: Full-timeAPPLICATION QUESTION:What is your desired salary range?EDUCATION:Bachelor's (Required)EXPERIENCE:Manufacturing: 10 years (Required)LOCATION:Lakeville, MA 02347 (Required)ABILITY TO COMMUTE:Lakeville, MA 02347 (Required)WORK LOCATION: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
