BCG Attorney Search Experience 3-20 yrs required Location Miami, FL, United States Posted on Sep 19, 2024 Valid Through Oct 19, 2024 ProfileA distinguished business litigation law firm in Miami is seeking a highly experienced Plaintiff-Side Class Action & Arbitration Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience. This role involves handling federal court class actions and consumer arbitrations with a focus on data privacy and cryptocurrency matters. The position offers the flexibility of being fully remote and provides the opportunity to manage your own cases from inception to conclusion.Duties:Manage federal-court class actions and consumer arbitrations from initiation to resolution.Handle case responsibilities such as drafting complaints, briefs, and settlement agreements.Conduct hearings, depositions, and mediations in federal court and consumer arbitration forums.Lead cases related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection.Attend and argue at federal court and arbitration hearings, including those in FINRA, AAA, or JAMS forums.Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and achieve positive client outcomes.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience.Experience in federal-court litigation and class actions (preferred).Expertise in data privacy and cybersecurity litigation (preferred).Experience in arbitration forums such as FINRA, AAA, or JAMS.Strong legal writing and research skills.Fluency in Spanish (helpful but not required).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law, with preference for candidates admitted to the California Bar.Skills:Strong litigation and trial skills, with the ability to manage cases independently.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Effective negotiation skills with experience in mediation and settlements.Proficient in handling complex litigation and arbitration matters.Big Law, federal clerkship, or government experience (SEC, FTC, US Attorney's Office, or state regulator) is highly preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
