Lauderdale, FL. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and the option to work primarily remotely within Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability defense, including tort litigation, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and automobile liability. This role offers significant responsibility, opportunities for advancement, and the chance to represent Fortune 500 companies in complex litigation matters.Duties:Handle all aspects of general liability defense litigation, from case inception through trial.Represent clients in tort litigation, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and automobile liability cases.Draft complex legal opinions, motions, and briefs.Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.Manage discovery processes, including depositions and document reviews.Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials.Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategies and trial preparation.Travel selectively for case-related matters as needed.Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in defense litigation, including general liability.Experience in tort litigation, product liability, construction defect, premises liability, and automobile liability.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting complex legal documents.Ability to manage cases independently and collaborate effectively with a legal team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Florida State Bar is required.Skills:Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
