SummaryIf you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support management in making informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, good understanding of overall business, excellent quantitative skills, and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.In this role, you will have clear open lines of communication and interact with all the team members across various departments, such as Operation, Production, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Quality Management, and Engineering, partnering with stakeholders in and outside of Finance, and drive appropriate changes to ensure effective and compliant financial management.Essential Functions:Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to track key performance metrics.Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas of opportunity or risk and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budget or forecast preparation and monitor variances. Support budgeting and planning processes by providing data-driven insights and analysis. Continuously monitor and evaluate financial performance against targets and benchmarks.Reporting: Prepare and present reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.KPI Management: Monitor and analyze KPI performance related to labor, Program Finance, and other operational metrics, regularly to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present KPI reports and dashboards.Other Duties and ResponsibilitiesPartner with other finance functions and internal stakeholders on financial closing and budgeting.Process and manage duties related to financial month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.Maintain continuous, accurate, and adequate variance analysis.Proactive business and cross-functional collaboration and partnering.Perform other duties as assigned.CompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, accepts constructive criticism/feedback, and changes approach or method to best fit the situation.Communications: Clearly provides information in a variety of methods that can be fully understood and useful. Models the behavior expected of others and consistent with GTIs values.Summary of Education, Experience & CertificationBachelor's degree and a minimum 3-5 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven experience as a financial analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel. SQL proficiency preferred, but not required.Experience with business intelligence, data management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365 and/or SAP a plus) and Financial Planning Software.Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person as defined for legal compliance purposes.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of financial principles and concepts, including financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ability to analyze control weaknesses and identify areas for improvement.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to initiate and manage projects or tasks from beginning to end with minimum guidance.Ability to organize effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.Ability to ensure effective follow-up and follow-through.Ability to make decisions while ensuring that issues/risks have been appropriately considered and mitigated.Demonstrated ability to partner with Operational managers and functional leaders.Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Experience within the Aerospace industry or manufacturing a plus.The expected WA salary range for this position is between $74,576.00 - $102,542.00 USD.
