For more information, please visit: .General Summary and Purpose: The Senior Financial Analyst is a core team member of the Finance Team. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for creating and compiling financial metrics to help senior management make timely business decisions. This position adheres to tight deadlines and a multitude of supporting roles. The Senior Financial Analyst will have contact with senior management, which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. The Senior Financial Analyst must have strong U.S. GAAP knowledge required in interpreting the monthly operating results.Duties and Responsibilities: Finance:Performs monthly financial analytics, such as:Variance analytics and KPIs for internal reportingCashflow forecasting financial review and GL codingSales analytics o Concentration analysis for financial filingsPersonnel fluctuationsFixed assets spend o Inventory standard variancesContributes to the preparation of detailed annual financial budgets, reforecasting and providing deliverables to senior managementMaintains month end and weekly operating reports and distributes KPI reports to senior managementAssists in the design and maintenance of clean data requirements for all consolidated operations, including data validation criteriaWorks closely with accounting on GL coding and variancesSupports the construction of long-term forecasts for financial statementsProvides the accounting team with SOX compliance testing and documentation for finance-owned processesSupports SEC reporting with required disclosures and MD&ALeverages enterprise-level tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Workday Planning, NetSuite and UKGCompletes ad hoc requests for miscellaneous data requests and financial modeling projects.Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, location, and market competitive benchmarks. Individual pay within a level is determined by work location (including geographic pay zone region), job related skills, experience, education, and training.The BioLife Solutions total rewards program includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401K with generous match, life and disability insurance as well as time off programs of Vacation and Sick time.
