You will support lifelong learners in an inter-professional environment that facilitates continuous development and learning.Your Job Requirements:Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of TexasCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certificationNPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator within two years of start dateMinimum 3 years of experience in clinical nursing practice and application of adult education theory in a hospital and/or School of NursingYour Job Responsibilities:Learning Facilitator, uses the educational design process to bridge the knowledge, skills, and/or practice gaps identified through a needs assessmentChange agent, actively works to transform processMentor, advances the profession by contributing to the professional development of othersLeader, influences the inter-professional practice and learning environmentsChampion for scientific inquiry, promotes the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to advance NPD practicePartner for practice transitions, promotes the culture of lifelong learningMethodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital that serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties.
