DescriptionPlease double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.SummaryAs a member of the Executive team, the Marketing Director will support the President and CEO in developing the strategic framework and vision for the bank. Responsibilities will influence and lead a broad array of functions including marketing strategy, product marketing, communications, competitive intelligence, digital marketing, events, and community engagements in a manner consistent with overall business growth and increased visibility. The Marketing Director will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with other areas of the company as well as external partners.ResponsibilitiesProvides product marketing material and support for core bank departments, including production of marketing materials, advertising pieces, press releases, advertising placements, and direct mail campaigns.Works with the Digital Marketing Team to oversee and ensure consistent GCB brand image on the intranet, GCB website, digital advertisements, social media outlets, and all other electronic formats.Maintains compliance approval files and stays informed of regulations and matters of significance that may impact the company.Provides support and/or coordinates planning of corporate events and seminars for customers.Responsible for distribution and record keeping of event tickets to establish and maintain strong relationships within the community and our clients.Provides support with business development, charitable, and community involvement activities and projects that promote the spirit, philosophy, dedication, and general direction of GCB.Partners with the CEO to prepare the marketing budget based on prior spending patterns and future marketing needs. Maintains monthly expense reports and manages approved budget, ensuring expenses are within budget parameters.Collaborates with various divisions on marketing analysis and needs when required.Performs related work as apparent or assigned.RequirementsSkills/Experience/EducationBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications studies, or a related field.10+ years of experience in marketing or a related field, including 5 years leading marketing, brand management, and operational marketing initiatives.Prior marketing experience in a bank or financial services industry preferred.Ability to develop marketing strategies and successfully create and execute marketing programs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.Accurate, creative, innovative, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.Essential Mental & Physical RequirementsAbility to travel if required to perform essential job functions.Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.Ability to read and interpret documents if required to perform essential job functions.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform essential job functions.
