The attorney will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and providing legal support within an established procedural framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in Special Districts or a General Counsel role, though comparable experience in areas such as land use, real estate, public/private partnerships, employment law, and public finance will also be considered. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with clients, professional consultants, government officials, and staff.Duties:Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including contracts, memorandums, ordinances, and resolutions.Interact and communicate effectively with clients, professional consultants, other attorneys, and government officials.Utilize document management and client billing software for drafting, editing, and sharing documents, as well as interfacing with internal staff and clients.Apply legal knowledge and skills to address matters related to the firm's practice areas.Collaborate with Partners and other team members to meet client needs and objectives.Maintain compliance with ethical standards and professional conduct.Requirements:Licensed attorney in the State of Colorado in good standing.Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.2-8 years of experience in a law firm or government position working on matters related to Title 31-32 Municipal Government and Special Districts.Strong analytical and research skills.Proficiency in legal writing and drafting.Ability to learn and adapt to new software programs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Education:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Drafting legal documents.Communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal).Software proficiency (document management, client billing, etc.).Collaboration and teamwork.Benefits Offered:Annual salary adjustment for employees in good standing.Generous paid time off.Life insurance and disability coverage.401(k) with matching contributions and profit-sharing.Cell phone reimbursement.Dental and Vision coverage (employee-paid).#J-18808-Ljbffr
