We are seeking a Director of Organizational Development & Communication who embodies our mission and cares deeply about our brand.This role is responsible for the strategy and implementation of training and development for all levels of Hosts at Dollywood Parks and Resorts to ensure understanding and practice of company values and expectations, and to develop capable leaders for company growth. This role also oversees broad communication for internal Hosts and potential employees and provides guidance for appreciation and recognition programs.Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesIdentify training needs and create, implement, and oversee training and organizational development plans.Build relationships with operating teams to understand training and communication needs.Organize and oversee the teaching of the company's core values and expectations.Act as in-house support and consultant to provide coaching and resources.Work with company leaders to support management succession plans.Use HR data to measure training effectiveness.Oversee the Learning Management System.Implement employment brand strategies for current and potential employees.Manage communication calendars for effective content distribution.Select, train, and supervise a team for training and communication.Ensure compliance with required training.Partner with properties to foster Host engagement.Support the development of communication tools for Host engagement.Collaborate with the HR Team to achieve common goals.Ensure compliance with labor laws and corporate policies.Prepare and adhere to annual budgets.Serve as HR Person-in-charge.Direct HR strategy for onboarding and training.Evaluate effectiveness of training programs.Maintain knowledge of new training methods and requirements.Ensure training milestones are met within budget.Create an annual training and development plan.Provide leadership to the HR Training and Communications/Engagement team.Education and Experience RequiredSeven (7) years of Human Resources experience required.College degree required; degree in organizational development, human resources, or communications preferred.Demonstrated ability to resolve employee concerns and develop teams.Theme park experience preferred.Successful experience leading and supervising employees.Excellent communication skills required.Strong knowledge of office software required.Must pass a background check, drug test, and obtain a TN driver's license.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be friendly and caring.Self-motivated and disciplined.Able to prioritize and complete work on time.Maintain confidentiality and good judgment.Committed to continuous improvement.Professional appearance and hygiene.Promote a team work environment.Productive in a fast-paced environment.Dependable attendance and flexibility with schedules.Sensitive to the needs of Guests.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to resolve conflicts and work collaboratively.Organized and enthusiastic.Strong business acumen and analytical skills.Able to lift up to 40 pounds.Able to tolerate various temperatures indoors and outdoors.Able to drive a company vehicle with valid license and insurance.The Dollywood Company is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
