As a Shipping and Receiving Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of goods, products, and materials within our aerospace supply chain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations, minimize lead times, and reduce transportation costs. Your expertise in shaping transportation strategies and negotiating carrier contracts will contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.Pay TransparencyThe annual base salary rangefor this position $48,000. - $54,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a generalguideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well asmarket and business considerations.Monday- Friday- 8am- 4:30pmKEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of materials* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics operations and minimize lead times* Shape transportation strategies and negotiate carrier contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions* Implement advanced shipping and distribution processes to reduce transportation costs* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes* Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge* Provide strategic reports to senior management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements*** Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.MUST HAVE3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related rolesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventoryProficiency in using shipping and inventory management softwareExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesBasic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft OfficeWE VALUEFamiliar with ITAR regulationsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work independentlyStrong communication and teamwork skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipmentKnowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and best practicesExperience with Oracle or SAPBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
